AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION
These are the conversations most people are afraid to have. This is the room where we finally have them.
-
Betrayal doesn't just hurt, it dismantles. Your sense of reality, safety, and self all take a hit at once. This is specialized work for a specific kind of pain. The replaying, the grief, the inability to trust your own instincts. You don't think your way out of this. You heal your way through it.
-
Infidelity shatters more than trust, it shatters the story you both thought you were living. Using the Gottman Method's research-based approach to affair recovery, we create a structured, honest process for both partners to find clarity about each other, about the relationship, and about what they want it to become.
-
Most couples don't have a communication problem, they have a connection problem, and communication is where it shows up. What you're fighting about, is rarely what you're actually fighting about. We find what's underneath and give you the tools to talk about that instead.
-
Premarital counseling is where we get honest about the things love doesn't automatically come with; conflict, communication, family patterns, and the values that will either hold you together or quietly pull you apart. Strong marriages aren't lucky. They're built.

For individual: Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, judgment-free space. We'll go over policies and procedures together, and I'll ask questions about your background; your history, relationships, how you're doing physically, emotionally, and mentally, so I can understand your full picture and we can build a treatment approach that's truly tailored to you. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. This is your space.
For couples: Your first couples session marks the beginning of a structured assessment process rooted in the Gottman Method. We'll go over policies and procedures, and then I'll begin getting to know each of you; your relationship history, your story as a couple, and what's brought you here. This assessment typically unfolds over three to four sessions and gives us a thorough foundation before we dive into the deeper work. Slowing down at the start actually speeds up healing in the long run.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of each session.
That said, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for a portion of our sessions. I'm happy to provide you with a superbill; a detailed receipt you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I'd recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before we get started.

Individual sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. Couples sessions are $195 for 75 minutes. Payment is due 24 hours before your scheduled session. I accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards.
I do not bill insurance directly, however I can provide a superbill upon request that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Session frequency is something we determine together based on your specific needs and goals.
For individuals: Most clients begin meeting weekly, which allows us to build momentum and consistency early in the healing process; especially important when working through betrayal trauma. Depending on where you are in your healing journey, we may move to biweekly sessions as you progress and stabilize.
For couples: Weekly sessions are strongly recommended at the start of treatment. Given that the initial assessment alone spans three to four sessions, meeting weekly keeps the process moving and prevents you from losing ground between appointments. Many couples benefit from a combination of joint couples sessions and individual sessions; allowing each partner space to do their own personal work alongside the work you're doing together. From there we gradually taper as you build the tools and confidence to navigate on your own.
There is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Healing from betrayal trauma is not a linear process and we will always move at a pace that feels right for you.
