At Halo Therapy Group, we believe healing happens in relationship.

Understanding your story is only the beginning. Our work helps you move beyond insight by creating meaningful, lasting change in the way you relate to yourself, the people you love, and the life you've built.

Our approach is rooted in systemic, trauma-informed care and draws from evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, somatic therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Halo Therapy Group is a veteran-owned practice founded by Nas and Will, two U.S. military veterans.

Our Team

A professional woman smiling in an office, holding a tablet, with soft natural light offering anxiety and traua therapy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I work with women who became the cycle breakers in their families. They've built the kind of life they once hoped for, steady relationships, a secure home and maybe a family of their own.

Yet, they still find themselves bracing for the moment it all falls apart. If you grew up in a household that felt unpredictable, your nervous system may have learned that staying alert was the safest way to get through the day.

That vigilance made sense then, but it doesn't always know how to rest now, even in a life you've worked hard to build. You overthink, stay vigilant, and wonder if the good will last.

Using EMDR, somatic, and relational therapy, I help you heal the patterns that keep your nervous system stuck in survival so your relationships can finally begin to feel as safe as the life you've built. Read more →

Will James

I work with adults who have reached a point where the life they've built no longer feels like it fully fits. Maybe you’ve built a successful career, stable relationships, or you've checked all the boxes you thought would make you happy, but you're realizing you're still asking, Who am I outside of what I've always been expected to be?

Whether you're navigating career transitions, shifting family roles, relationship changes, or exploring your cultural identity, therapy offers space to untangle inherited expectations from what you genuinely want for yourself.

Using narrative, solution-focused, CBT, and Gottman-informed approaches, I help you make sense of your story, challenge the beliefs that no longer serve you, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you actually are.
