Hi, I'm Nas
I work with women who have built lives that finally feel stable, yet still find themselves living as though something could go wrong at any moment. Maybe you've built the relationship you always wanted or the home that feels peaceful. Maybe you've become the person your younger self needed. And yet... you still find yourself waiting for the other shoe to drop.
You overthink conversations. You brace for bad news. You struggle to relax, even during the moments you've worked so hard to create. These responses didn't appear out of nowhere. They were shaped by relationships, environments, and experiences that taught your nervous system to stay prepared, even when the danger has passed.
That's the lens I bring into therapy. I don't see anxiety as something to "get rid of." I see it as a clue. A sign that your mind and body are still trying to protect you in ways that once made sense, but no longer fit the life you're living today. That's why my work goes beyond insight.
I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, and relational approaches to help your nervous system process experiences that talk therapy alone doesn't always reach. Together, we work toward more than understanding your patterns; we help your body experience safety differently.
Because healing isn't just knowing you're safe. It's finally feeling it.
A little bit about me.
-
Before becoming a therapist, I served in the military and spent 10 years in Corporate Human Resources, supporting people through high-pressure decisions, career transitions, and some of life's most challenging seasons. Those experiences taught me that what people carry internally often looks very different from what the world sees. Someone can appear capable, successful, and composed while carrying anxiety, grief, or old survival patterns beneath the surface.
Today, I'm also a wife and mother, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the complexity of relationships and the courage it takes to grow, repair, and show up differently.
Those experiences shape the therapist I am today. I believe healing happens through relationships built on honesty, curiosity, and trust. Not judgment. My role isn't to tell you who you should become, but to help you understand the patterns that have shaped you and support you as you create new ones.
My goal isn't to become someone you need forever. It's to help you build enough safety, confidence, and self-trust that you no longer need therapy to keep moving forward.
If you're looking for a therapist who will sit with your story, thoughtfully challenge old patterns, and help you move from surviving to truly feeling at home in your life, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

I primarily work with:
Women healing from childhood trauma and family-of-origin wounds
High-functioning women whose nervous systems haven't caught up to the stable lives they've built
Anxiety rooted in chronic stress, attachment injuries, and developmental trauma
Relationship anxiety and fear of "waiting for the other shoe to drop"
Couples navigating communication, conflict, trust, and emotional disconnection
Betrayal trauma and affair recovery
Life transitions, identity shifts, and becoming the cycle breaker in your family
While these are my areas of focus, every treatment plan is tailored to your unique story, goals, and relationships.
Sometimes this anxiety doesn't just live in you, it shows up between you and a partner. I also work with couples where one partner recognizes this pattern; bracing for things to go wrong, difficulty trusting good things, or old family dynamics playing out in the relationship. If this sounds like your relationship, couples work may be a good starting point instead of or alongside individual therapy. I'm trained in the Gottman Method, which shapes how I approach this work. Frequently Asked Questions
-
My practice is built around the experience of women rebuilding stability after an unpredictable upbringing, but if you think this work applies to you regardless of gender, reach out and we can talk about fit.
-
No. A lot of my clients don't have one defining event, just years of low-grade unpredictability that shaped how safe they feel now. That's still real, and still worth working through.
-
Yes, I work with both individuals and couples.
